Monica E. Worcester

Monica E. Worcester recently joined the Varney Financial team, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry. She began her career in banking and has developed expertise across a wide range of areas, from operations to wealth management. Monica is especially passionate about helping plan participants prepare for retirement and is eager to contribute to the growth of the firm’s retirement plans while providing meaningful education tailored to client needs.

A Maine native, Monica lives in a small Mid-coast town with her family, where they are working toward a more self-sufficient lifestyle. Their home includes ducks and chickens, vegetable and herb gardens, fruit trees and bushes, and a few cats and dogs. When she and her partner, Norm, aren’t caring for their 1860s farmhouse, they enjoy attending live music events, camping, and supporting her son Evan in his running endeavors. Norm, a trained chef, loves preparing meals with ingredients fresh from their garden. Evan, a high school freshman, competes in cross-country as well as indoor and outdoor track, all while keeping up with his honors coursework.
